The film takes place during the trial in 2010 against the German Nazi and Auschwitz accountant Oskar Gröning. The film, through its admission of prosecutor Thomas Walther’s indictment, and in the light of the trial itself, points to a provocative and sensitive debate about whether it makes any sense to charge and punish for deeds committed 60 years ago. See it as a presentation for conversation with students, in your association or at home.
