It is an honor to welcome you to another festival week of unforgettable films, exciting guests and talks.
Take a look through the program, download it, or pass by the Cinemateque, where the printed program, designed by Katrine Høyberg, will be available from Friday 31 January. You can also buy her beautiful CJFF 2020 poster, and pick it up later at the Cinemateque ticket desk.
There are many themes and there are many unique stories. A special gift to you this year is a visit from California, with a visit from the progressive podcast program Judaism Unbound. They will come to podcast and attend the festival. Hopefully, you will meet Daniel Libenson. The vision is that we will have a podcast document available to all Jews in DK about how Jewish life thrives and what it consists of – who we are, who you are, and what do we want in the future?
Keep in mind that we are mainly in the Cinemateque (as always), but that we have outposts at Kunstforeningen Gl Strand and Nikolaj Contemporary Art Center on February 26th, and at Forsøgsstationen (The Lab Station) in Vesterbro on March 1st. Tickets for these two venues can be purchased via links here on the site.
We hope and believe and know that CJFF 2020 will be unique, unforgettable, relevant and current.
See you soon, and thank you in advance to all the partners in the festival – with a special thanks to Rasmus Brendstrup, program editor at the Cinemateque, for an endless dedicated commitment!
